Hondros College of Nursing is seeking a dynamic and experienced MSN prepared nurse to join our faculty team as a Full-Time Nursing Faculty member. As a key member of our academic team, you will be responsible for teaching students in the classroom, lab, and clinical settings, promoting a positive learning environment, and working collaboratively to implement the curriculum.
Responsibilities- Teaching and Instruction: Instruct students in the classroom, lab, and/or clinical setting, predominantly lecture and lab on campus, with some clinical hours.
- Curriculum Implementation: Work collaboratively to assure full implementation of the curriculum.
- Faculty Organization and Campus Curriculum Committees: Participate as members of the Faculty Organization and Campus Curriculum Committees.
- Student Success: Recommend strategies for student success.
- Tutoring: Tutor students to assist in meeting course objectives.
- Clinical Experience: Implement the clinical experience component of the program, if applicable.
- Evaluation and Feedback: Evaluate each student's achievement and progress and provide valuable feedback.
- Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN): A Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) is required.
- Practice Experience: At least three years full-time in the practice of nursing as a Registered Nurse or part-time equivalent.
- Licensure: Active, unencumbered licensure in the State of Ohio as a Registered Nurse.
- Certification: Current American Heart Association compliant Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
