Job Title: Psychiatric Mental Health Physician Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Physician Assistant to join our team at Archway Physician Recruitment LLC. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our physicians and staff to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Job Summary:

The Psychiatric Mental Health Physician Assistant will work under the supervision of a licensed physician to provide medical care to patients with mental health conditions. This includes conducting physical exams, taking medical histories, ordering and interpreting lab results, and developing treatment plans. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct physical exams and take medical histories to assess patients' physical and mental health
  • Order and interpret lab results, including blood work and imaging studies
  • Develop treatment plans in collaboration with licensed physicians
  • Prescribe medications and monitor patients' responses to treatment
  • Provide patient education and counseling on mental health topics
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or related field
  • Current certification as a Physician Assistant
  • Experience working in a psychiatric or mental health setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
