Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Delivery Driver Lead to join our team at CVS Health. As a key member of our delivery operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and efficiency of our delivery drivers and their operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate work schedules and delivery routes to optimize efficiency and productivity
  • Monitor work flow to analyze patterns and trends, and implement improvements as needed
  • Train and develop delivery staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively
  • Conduct routine staff meetings to communicate updates, address concerns, and provide feedback
  • Ensure that all deliveries are accurate and timely, and that shipments are handled with care and attention to detail
  • Perform physical inventories and sort baskets according to facility units, location, and delivery times
  • Scans all medication pending for delivery and prepares manifests and ancillary paperwork as needed
  • Retrieve medication totes from PVII pharmacists and check bins before delivery departure for missed meds
  • During down times, assist pharmacy floor for additional support and follow all applicable government regulations, including HIPAA
Requirements
  • Driver's license in good standing and a clean driving record
  • Ability to use routing software and drive a standard transmission if necessary
  • Verifiable High School Diploma or GED is required
  • Ability to concentrate on a task over a period without being distracted and use and understand verbal and written communication to interact with customers and colleagues
  • Actively listening by giving full attention to what others are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times
  • Ability to use math to solve a problem, such as calculating day's supply of a prescription
  • Is able to judge when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong; recognizing there is a problem and choosing the best course of action when faced with a complex situation with several available options
  • Customer service orientation and ability to maintain highest professional and ethical standards
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Pay Range: $31.72 per hour
