Shift: Nights (Rotating, primarily 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM, Monday to Friday)

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent sterilization experience

License: Not specified

Certifications: CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general duties including decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and case picking
  • Reprocess endoscopy equipment
  • Utilize various sterilization and decontamination equipment, including ultrasound, medivator, System 1E, Sterrad, autoclave, Censitrac, and Epic
  • Work in two physical locations within the same building, which include procedure rooms and instrument reprocessing for clinics and inpatient departments
  • Adhere to the dress code by wearing hospital-laundered scrubs and enclosed shoes
  • Participate in a unit-specific orientation program to become familiar with processes, equipment, and supply locations at each site (1-2 days for each location)

Additional Requirements:

  • Must have Certified Sterilization Tech with CRCST certification
  • Experience with decontamination and endoscopy processing
