Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated CNA/HHA Memory Care Specialist to join our team at The Residence at South Windsor Farms. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and services to our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Promote the mission and core values of LCB Senior Living LLC to residents, visitors, coworkers, and the surrounding community.
  • Assist residents with medications according to State Regulations and LCB Policies and Procedures.
  • Engage residents in meaningful interactions and experiences, providing assistance, encouragement, and restorative interventions as needed.
  • Monitor for changes in resident needs, preferences, and health status, reporting and documenting any noticed changes promptly.
  • Assist residents with clothing and laundry needs, as per the service plan.
  • Participate in the community's regularly scheduled in-service training programs and specialized staff training programs as requested by the Resident Care Director.
  • Document both scheduled and unscheduled services provided, including incidents, behaviors, and out-of-the-ordinary events.
  • Initiate, conduct, and facilitate programming, including Habilitative/therapeutic groups and individual interaction, that offer cognitive stimulation, socialization, physical activity, and spiritual connection.
  • Demonstrate Habilitative/therapeutic/Engagement conversation and redirection conversation with residents, offering appropriate cues.
  • Ability to manage difficult resident behaviors.
Qualifications:
  • Completed the course for certified nursing assistant or have equivalent training or experience as required by State Regulation.
  • CPR and First Aid training as mandated by the State employed.
  • Prior experience providing direct care or the equivalent in training preferred.
  • Experience in caring for seniors with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of Dementia is preferred.
  • Current license/certification as required by State Regulation.

Part Time: 3pm-11pm

Weekends: 7am-3pm

New Wages: Starting at $20/hr - $22/hr based on years of experience
