Evaluate and make independent credit decisions for commercial loans and real estate, managing approval and commitment processes, ensuring compliance with bank policy and accuracy of documents.

Responsibilities:
  • Commands thorough knowledge of Bank's Loan Underwriting and Administration Guidelines (LUAG) and bank policy.
  • Maintains timely loan maturities for assigned lending team and monitors current loans to ensure compliance with terms and proactively manages risk.
  • Manages Covenant Compliance, facilitates borrower financial reporting, and evaluates financial performance of borrowers.
  • Identifies early client risk, detects volatile industries and markets, and ensures timely credit file updates.
  • Collaborates in pre-closing activities, negotiates credit terms, and proactively manages credit risk and exposure.
  • Interacts with customers and potential customers on credit or risk related matters and identifies cross sell opportunities.

As a Business Credit Risk Manager at Rockland Trust, you will possess the ability to make independent lending recommendations based on analysis and assessment of business' and guarantor's capacity to repay.
