This is a full-time role, reporting directly to the Campus Director.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a developmentally appropriate educational experience utilizing engaging methods such as storytelling, games, and interactive activities.
- Guide students in adhering to classroom and school rules and procedures.
- Monitor and assess students' progress throughout the academic year, preparing them for future educational levels.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with parents and the director regarding student progress and concerns.
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with parents and guardians.
- Uphold safety and security standards for children, staff, and visitors.
- Maintain accurate records for individual student files, attendance, incident reports, and other essential documentation.

Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Successful completion of a drug test and DCF Clearinghouse background check is required.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in classroom leadership and lesson plan development.
- Familiarity with Florida Early Learning Standards and the ability to implement them effectively.
- Certification or progress towards certification in one of the following: Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, Early Childhood Professional Certificate (ECPC), Florida Child Care Professional Credential (FCCPC), or Florida Child Care Staff Credential Verification.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods within the classroom.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 45 pounds.
- Must be able to sit and stand on the floor throughout the day, and bend, kneel, or squat to engage with children at their level.
