About the Role

We are seeking a skilled ASL Interpreter to join our team at Kelly Services, Inc. As an ASL Interpreter, you will play a vital role in facilitating communication between individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing and those who use spoken language.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret American Sign Language (ASL) in a variety of settings, including medical, legal, and educational environments.
  • Provide high-quality interpretation services, ensuring accuracy and clarity in communication.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet the needs of clients and stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and continuing education requirements.
Requirements
  • National certification in ASL interpretation (e.g., RID, NIC, CASLI).
  • Excellent receptive and expressive sign-to-voice and voice-to-sign skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
