Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cosmetologist to join our team at the State of Delaware. As a Cosmetologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality hair care services to patients in a skilled nursing facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess hair type, condition, and growth pattern
  • Cut, set, and style hair
  • Apply permanent waves, hair relaxers, tints, and dyes
  • Apply shampoos, scalp, and hair treatments
  • Sterilize and sanitize shop equipment and instruments and clean work area
  • Record number and type of treatments and services administered
  • Schedule patient appointments, prepare summary reports, and inventory and recommend requisition of beauty shop supplies and equipment

Requirements

To be successful as a Cosmetologist, you must have a Delaware Cosmetologist license and be legally authorized to work in the United States.
