Position DetailsCabinet Assemblers will be tasked with the construction, assembly, and finishing of cabinets in accordance with established procedures. This role requires the use of various tools and materials to guarantee superior craftsmanship and timely project completion.
Primary Responsibilities:- Adhere to established assembly procedures, utilizing the appropriate tools and hardware components.
- Conduct inspections of materials and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Regularly maintain and clean tools, machinery, and workspaces to uphold a safe and organized environment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, including supervisors and fellow assemblers, to meet production deadlines and quality expectations.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while operating tools and machinery.
- Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as required, promoting a safe workplace for all employees.
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Additional training or certification in carpentry or cabinet making is advantageous.
- Proficient in the safe and effective use of various hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Capability to lift up to 49 lbs.
- Punctuality and reliability are essential.
- Safety shoes are mandatory.
Packaging Associates will be responsible for the packaging of cabinets and accessories according to the daily production schedule.
Key Responsibilities:- Verify that all products have the correct documentation, labels, and quantities prior to packaging.
- Ensure that products meet quality standards and are packaged with appropriate protection, labeled correctly, and placed in designated staging areas.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Kitter/Parts Coordinator will manage the unpacking of unassembled cabinets, sorting, distributing parts for modification, and ensuring quality control of finished components.
Key Responsibilities:- Open boxes and extract cabinet pieces requiring modification.
- Inventory and store remaining parts appropriately.
- Reassemble modified parts with original components and prepare for assembly.
- Ensure all parts meet the highest quality standards before staging for assembly.
- Perform other warehouse tasks as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Comply with all safety regulations and company policies.
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Experience working with tools and machinery.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Punctuality and reliability are crucial.
- Regularly lift up to 49 lbs.
- Frequent standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching during shifts.
- Utilize carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other equipment to move items throughout the facility.
- Follow both written and verbal instructions.
- Safety shoes are required.
