Job Summary

As a Respiratory Therapist with SSM Health, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care services, evaluating patient needs, and developing individualized care plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer prescribed respiratory therapeutic services, including oxygen therapy and aerosol therapy.
  • Assess patient responses to treatment and make recommendations for adjustments as needed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure effective patient care.
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory health and disease management.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Respiratory Care or equivalent experience and education.
  • Current registration as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
