Job Summary:

The Family Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing primary and specialty care to patients in a variety of settings, including ambulatory care, occupational health, and emergency departments. You will conduct physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop and implement patient care plans. Additionally, you will prescribe medications and other forms of treatment, as well as educate patients and their families on health and wellness topics.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct physical examinations and provide preventive health measures
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests
  • Develop and implement patient care plans
  • Prescribe medications and other forms of treatment
  • Provide education and coaching to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
  • Current RN license and nurse practitioner certification
  • State prescriptive authority and DEA license
  • Current national certification (ANCC or AANP)
  • Master's degree in Science of Nursing
  • CPR certification
Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least three years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of Electronic Medical Records
