Job Summary

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team at AdventHealth Altamonte Springs. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing and supervising direct and indirect total nursing care responsibilities to identified age-specific groups. You will utilize the nursing process (assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating) in achieving the goals of the nursing department.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and interpret diagnostic data relative to patient age and condition, including lab results, non-invasive monitoring data, and interdisciplinary team notes.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care that address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and wellness.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a school of nursing.
  • EKG competency testing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
