Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Operations Manager to join our team at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for facilitating and managing ongoing department operations, including quality, service, fiscal, and human resources processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate and manage ongoing department operations, including quality, service, fiscal, and human resources processes.
  • Support and ensure that comprehensive patient care services are provided that support the integrity of the family system and patient care team.
  • Proactively support efforts that ensure delivery of safe patient care and services and promote a safe environment at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
  • Manage staffing effectiveness and develop and maintain relationships with leadership in other departments to ensure appropriate resources are accessible for clinicians.

  • Execute implementation plans for system and unit changes.
  • Engage departmental leaders to achieve unit goals and projects.
  • Focus time and attention on key retention activities.
  • Coach staff to improve performance.

Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in management/administration.
  • Advanced education in business, management, or related field.
  • Professional nurse certification.
  • Experience in management in a healthcare setting.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Pediatric Emergency Assessment Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) (check department-specific recommendation).
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the single State of Georgia or Multi-State through the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment.
  • Professional Nursing Certification required upon hire or within one year of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in management in a healthcare setting.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Pediatric Emergency Assessment Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) (check department-specific recommendation).
