About the PositionWe're seeking an experienced SLP to join our team in Milwaukie, Oregon. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students and their families.
Job SummaryThis School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position requires a Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology. A valid state license and Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association are preferred. You'll be responsible for providing comprehensive speech and language assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering engaging therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of students' communication skills
- Design and implement tailored treatment plans based on student needs
- Deliver high-quality therapy sessions using best practices and proven methodologies
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation of services provided
- Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP state license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
