Aerial Surveyor Position

Job Summary:

The Army National Guard is seeking a skilled Technical Engineer to develop plans and lead construction crews to success. As a Technical Engineer, you will gain expertise in building, planning, and repairing various infrastructure projects. Your training includes construction site development, technical investigation, surveying, drafting, and creating construction plans and specifications.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

* Conduct construction material testing and inspections
* Draw maps, charts, and scale drawings of roads, airfields, and buildings
* Conduct land surveys and compute survey results
* Prepare structure wiring and plumbing diagrams
* Build scale models of land areas showing hills, lakes, roads, and buildings
* Piece together aerial photographs to form large photomaps

Requirements and Qualifications:

+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ Ability to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
+ Must be between the ages of 17 and 35
+ Must be able to work effectively in a team environment
