Handyman (Senate)

We are seeking a skilled Handyman to join our team at Goddard Riverside. As a Handyman, you will be responsible for conducting basic to mid-level repairs to plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and masonry in the building, apartments, and exterior grounds.

• Complete tasks and work orders assigned, including but not limited to explanatory.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with residents and staff, vendors, and community members to obtain details needed to complete tasks or respond to new requests.
• Able to access, diagnose, and determine the next course of action needed to complete repairs or tasks.

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a handyman, including skills in locks, plumbing, electrical.
• Sufficient familiarity with masonry, plumbing, electrical, mechanical basic principles and terminology.

Able to work indoors and outdoors during all seasons. Knowledge of safety protocols with lifting, use of chemicals, and use of machinery. Able to lift at least up to 50lbs, constant standing, walking, climbing stairs, climbing ladders.

Some nights and weekend days may be required due to staffing shortages.
