Job Overview

At Script Care LTD, we are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a Production Pharmacy Technician role. This position plays a crucial part in supporting the efficient and accurate dispensing of medications to patients through mail order services.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prescription Fulfillment:
  • Process medication orders with precision, ensuring accurate picking, packing, and labeling.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists to fill prescription orders with integrity and accuracy, adhering to established procedures and guidelines.
Inventory Management:
  • Contribute to medication inventory management by restocking, organizing, and conducting regular quality checks.
  • Notify the pharmacist of any medication shortages or inventory discrepancies.
  • Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and maintain optimal stock levels.
Quality Control:
  • Collaborate with team members to conduct routine inspections and checks, upholding our commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards.
  • Communicate any identified issues promptly and work together to implement solutions.
  • Demonstrate dedication to patient safety by following established quality assurance procedures and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
Regulatory Compliance:
  • Embody integrity by adhering to federal, state, and local pharmacy laws, and regulations.
  • Stay updated with industry developments and changes in pharmacy practices through continuous learning.
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure compliance with HIPAA guidelines.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a pharmacy technician certification program is preferred.
  • Current and valid licensure as a Registered Pharmacy Technician or Technician Trainee in Texas.

Professional Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, drug terminology, and common medications.
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with pharmacy information systems and electronic prescription processing.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and medication dispensing.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, healthcare providers, and team members.
