Casual Tractor Trailer Drivers play a vital role in our operations, driving a tractor trailer from one UPS location to another or to a customer on an established route before returning to their original location. What Does It Take?

  • Casual Tractor Trailer Drivers work days, nights and/or weekends
  • A valid CDL license (commercial driver's license) in home state, with a doubles/triples endorsement may be needed depending on location
  • Pass the DOT physical
  • Reliability, responsibility, and a love of truck driving
  • Legal right to work in the U.S.
  • Tractor-Trailer Drivers are expected to comply with UPS appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided uniform.

*This is a seasonal role. A seasonal job is a great place to start at UPS, and it might even lead to a permanent role that offers even more advantages and benefits Permanent, full-time small package delivery drivers receive an average total compensation package of $145,000 per year. That includes $0 healthcare premiums, up to seven weeks of paid vacation, plus paid time off for holidays, sick leave and option days.
