Mechanical Inspector

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Inspector to join our team at Kiewit Corporation. As a Mechanical Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our construction projects, with a focus on mechanical and welding inspections.

• Conduct thorough inspections and tests to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Develop and implement quality control plans to ensure the highest level of quality in our construction projects.
• Collaborate with construction supervisors, schedulers, and planners to ensure effective implementation of quality control measures.
• Generate quality reports and metrics to track project progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Provide training and guidance to project team members on quality control procedures and best practices.

• Undergraduate or technical degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a related construction field, with a focus on quality control.
• Strong knowledge of construction codes, standards, and jurisdictional requirements.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex information to project team members.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve quality control issues.
