At Air Evac Lifeteam, we're seeking a highly skilled Flight Paramedic to join our team of air transportation experts. As a Flight Paramedic, you'll play a critical role in safely transporting patients to and from medical facilities, as well as providing pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support care.
Responsibilities:- Complete and submit electronic patient care records within specified time frames.
- Perform daily base checks, including narcotic counts.
- Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support care, maintaining thorough patient care competency.
- Maintain documentation of required licensure, certifications, continuing education, safety, and advanced procedures.
- Stay knowledgeable in the use and routine maintenance of all equipment and supplies used by emergency programs.
- Develop and maintain positive interpersonal relationships with colleagues, EMS representatives, hospitals, and the public.
- Function as a medical flight member, attending pre-mission briefings and mission debriefings.
- Comply with safety standards to ensure the safety of self, medical personnel, patient, and equipment.
- Minimum of three years' experience in an ALS or critical care setting.
- Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications required prior to flight status.
- Advanced Certification (FP-C) preferred, required within 24 months from date of hire.
