About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Management Professional to join our team at The LiRo Group. As an Assistant Superintendent, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect construction work to ensure compliance with building standards and project specifications
  • Inspect all materials upon arrival to the jobsite to ensure compliance
  • Review plans to identify potential violations
  • Document inspections and report any issues
  • Determine the quality of materials being used throughout testing
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering or construction management a plus
  • Minimum (6) years of experience in building construction trades.
  • Minimum (4) years of experience as a Construction Inspector including inspection of site/civil
  • OSHA 30 hr.
  • Proficiency with web-based submittal collaboration systems
  • Construction scheduling knowledge to support project team
  • Experience with the Uniform Code and NYC Supplement is preferred
  • Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and procedures
  • Ability to maintain field and office records and perform quantity computations
  • Experience reading and interpreting plans and specifications
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Collaborate with multiple team members
  • Ability and coordination to safely maneuver around a construction site
