Cafe Attendant

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Cafe Attendant to join our team at the prestigious Colleton River Club. As a Cafe Attendant, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our members and guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience in our upscale environment.

• Provide top-notch service to members and guests in the bar area, maintaining the highest level of cleanliness and good repair of all bars, service workstations, and equipment.
• Follow all guidelines in the clubhouse service procedure handbook, ensuring knowledge of Club & Community information, including hours of operation and upcoming events.
• Maintain a positive attitude with all staff and members, greeting them by name when possible and using proper vocabulary when speaking with them.
• Advise supervisory staff of any complaints immediately and complete all daily side duty assignments.
• Set up and tear down all bar, dining, and buffet tables for banquet/club functions, including moving furniture, chairs, and tables.
• Possess competent knowledge of wines and spirits, staying current with wine and bar trends and South Carolina laws.
• Secure the Clubhouse at the end of the business day according to procedures.

This is a part-time position, averaging 25 hours per week. As a Cafe Attendant, you will have the opportunity to work in a beautiful and serene environment, surrounded by stunning vistas and picturesque landscapes.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Prior experience and/or training in a cafe or fast-food establishment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Teamwork - Contributes to building a positive team spirit; shows respect and promotes an inclusive and harassment-free environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
