Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Landscape Architect to join our team at McAdams, a leading land planning, landscape architecture, civil engineering, transportation and geomatics firm. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to collaborate with our design teams, develop innovative design solutions, and advance projects through all phases of the design process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Development: Collaborate with project design teams to develop design solutions, advance projects, and produce high-quality designs and documentations.
  • Technical Expertise: Collect, analyze, and present data, conduct field observations, produce construction documents, and interpret development ordinances and codes.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Contribute to the company culture, participate in external and internal organizations, and maintain healthy relationships with teams and clients.
  • Leadership: Mentor and guide novice staff, and assist the Practice Manager in organizing workflow and coordinating with project and staff resource teams.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program.
  • Licensure: RLA licensure (NC preferred).
  • Experience: 8+ years of working experience in the field of landscape architecture.
  • Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suites, Lumion, and Sketch-up, with strong written and oral communication skills.
Estimated Salary:

$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
