Job Summary

Madison Reed Hair Color Bar is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Colorist Assistant to join our team. As a Colorist Assistant, you will support our Licensed Colorists and Shift Lead in providing exceptional guest experiences, learning the services, and working towards your next role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Licensed Colorists and Shift Lead in providing seamless guest experiences
  • Learn and master color theory, behind-the-chair application skills, and Madison Reed systems
  • Contribute to achieving monthly sales goals and key performance indicators
  • Ensure the Hair Color Bar meets company standards for cleanliness, merchandising, and inventory
  • Adhere to protocols regarding Madison Reed systems, policies, and procedures
  • Drive Hair Color Bar revenue through additional services, sales, and subscriptions
Requirements
  • Active cosmetology license in the state of employment
  • Entry-level experience in customer service or retail sales, with a preference for salon or beauty industry experience
  • Effective communication, problem-solving, and people skills in a fast-paced retail or salon environment
  • Comfortable operating point-of-sale systems
