Management and Training Corporation (MTC) is seeking an Outreach Assistant to conduct direct recruiting activities and interface with other outreach contractors in compliance with government and management directives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct direct recruitment activities, including public speaking, and develop linkage with referral sources such as human services agencies, recreation centers, youth organizations, local high schools, one-stops, and churches.
  2. Prepare, schedule, and provide outreach presentations in the assigned area in support of the regional outreach efforts.
  3. Assist with leading tours and follow up with attendees.
  4. Conduct a tour survey and communicate with supervisor and the center to follow up.
  5. Prepare necessary and required reports related to the recruitment and retention efforts.
  6. Participate and promote student employability programs and activities.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalency
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking
  • Social media and computer proficiency
  • A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record
