Southwest Barricades, LLC is seeking a skilled Asphalt/Concrete Saw Cutter/Core Driller to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy equipment to cut and drill concrete or asphalt for utility installation and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Locate and mark cutting or drilling positions using precision tools and techniques.
- Operate a variety of heavy equipment, including asphalt/concrete saws and core drills, to cut and drill concrete or asphalt.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety protocols and regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment as needed.
Requirements:
- At least 21 years of age or older.
- Valid unrestricted driver's license and good driving history.
- Ability to work days, nights, weekends, or out of town as needed.
- Steel toe leather work boots, reflective safety vest, safety glasses, hard hat, and work gloves required.
- Pass a required pre-employment drug screen and random testing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience with heavy equipment operation and maintenance.
- Mathematical aptitude and ability to perform measurements and calculations.
- Strong mechanical abilities and problem-solving skills.
