Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Consultant to join our team at Truecare. As an integral part of our primary care treatment team, you will identify, triage, and manage patients with medical and behavioral health problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide skill training through psycho-education and patient education strategies
  • Develop specific behavioral/therapeutic treatment plans for patients
  • Assist primary health care providers in recognizing and treating mental disorders and psychosocial problems
  • Detect at-risk patients and assess the clinical status of patients referred by the primary care provider
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Psychology, or PhD/PsyD in Psychology from an accredited program
  • Licensed in California as an LCSW, Psychologist, LMFT, LPCC
  • At least two years' experience providing psychotherapy (CBT-based models preferred) with children, adults, and adolescents
  • Computer proficiency, particularly with Electronic Health/Medical Record systems and the Microsoft Office suite
