Breakfast Cook

Keke's Breakfast Cafe is seeking a skilled Cook to join our Clermont location. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food products to the highest standards. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will be essential in delivering an exceptional breakfast experience to our guests. Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare a variety of food items using flat top grills, char-broiler, cook top, waffle baker, Panini press, and fryer.
* Maintain the quality of products prepared and served.
* Adhere to standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen policies and procedures.
* Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to ensure a smooth service period.
* Maintain a clean and sanitary work station area, including all cooking equipment and refrigeration equipment.
* Follow proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes.
* Handle, store, and rotate all products properly.
* Assist in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed.
* Open and close the kitchen properly and follow the closing checklist for kitchen stations.
* Assist others in closing the kitchen.
* Perform other duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager or manager-on-duty.

Requirements:

* Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
* Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in the predominant language(s) of our guests.
* Exceptional grooming habits.
* Must be available 6:00 am to 4:00 pm every day, including holidays.
* Full-time applicants must consider Keke's as their primary place of employment.
* All employees must have dark blue jeans with a black belt and black non-slip shoes on the first day of work.

Compensation: $15.00 per hour.
