Role Summary:

The primary responsibility of this role is to manufacture products using equipment within the designated cell. Key duties include setting up machinery, operating various equipment, and managing multiple machines during production cycles. The products are typically standardized in design and function, with prescribed methods for production. This role also involves coordinating the necessary resources to complete assigned tasks and may include assisting in other cells as required, while actively contributing to Lean initiatives across the organization.

Shift Availability: 2nd or 3rd Shift

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently set up and operate all machinery within the cell.
  • Perform setups for other processes during controlled manufacturing cycles.
  • Interpret process sheets, prints, and sketches to determine manufacturing processes and specifications.
  • Identify defective parts and take corrective actions on prints, processes, or programs.
  • Inspect workmanship for deviations and notify appropriate personnel for resolution.
  • Report all injuries, regardless of severity.
  • Adhere to all company safety protocols and training programs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Facilitate the movement of products to the next process as indicated on routing sheets.

Education and Experience Requirements:

A high school diploma or GED is required, along with one to three months of related experience or training. Cell Certification is necessary as outlined in the Hydratight Certification Matrix.

Work Environment:

Employees will work in a temperature-controlled setting, with exposure to a manufacturing environment. Safety measures are in place to protect against noise, moving mechanical parts, and electrical hazards.
