CNC Machinist

At AMF Bakery, we are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality parts by programming and operating CNC machines, maintaining quality and safety standards, and keeping accurate records.

• Plan and Program Machining: Study work orders, blueprints, and engineering plans to plan machining operations, interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
• Set Up and Operate CNC Machines: Install and adjust tools, attachments, and stock pushers, indicating vices and tramming heads.
• Load and Verify Settings: Load machine cells, lifting material stock into position, and verifying settings by measuring positions and first-run parts.
• Maintain Specifications and Quality: Observe drilling, grooving, and cutting operations, taking measurements, and detecting malfunctions.
• Maintain Safe Operations: Adhere to safety procedures and regulations, and maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.

• CNC Certification: Possess a valid CNC certification.
• CNC Programming: Have experience with CNC programming and conversational mills.
• Manufacturing Background: Possess a strong manufacturing background and conceptual skills.
• Attention to Detail: Demonstrate attention to detail and judgment in maintaining quality and safety standards.
