Salary: Registered Nurse (RN) hourly pay range: $53-$62, 25% higher than average.
Job Description:
As a Medical Care Professional, you will be responsible for providing quality care as an RN in post-acute care facilities, creating care plans by collaborating with medical staff and residents, and delivering the best treatments and administration of medications to each resident. You will also review care options and outcomes with physicians and other staff, educate residents and family members about best options for care, set up and monitor medical equipment as needed, ensure staff compliance with nursing standards and facility policies, draw fluids for lab analysis, train and supervise nurses and support staff, and accurately document medical interventions and histories. Additionally, you will help staff with incident investigations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you must have a current Massachusetts state license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN), completion of an approved nursing program, at least 4 months' experience in either post-acute care or in-patient hospital settings, and strong communication and organizational skills.
