Role Summary:

The Service Assistant plays a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences at Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurants. This position requires a strong passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Actively communicate with all departments to ensure seamless service and a memorable guest experience.
  • Adhere to Cooper's Hawk service standards and food handling procedures, maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
  • Pick up and deliver food orders to tables, as well as handle carry-out orders with efficiency and professionalism.
  • Engage with guests, responding to requests and answering questions about food, wine, and facilities in a friendly and helpful manner.
  • Maintain knowledge of Cooper's Hawk menu, ensuring accurate recommendations and promotions.
  • Ensure dishes are stocked and available for table service, and table silverware is ready for service.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and stocked work area, adhering to company guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to teamwork.

Requirements:

  • Must represent Cooper's Hawk values, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age, with a valid ID.
  • An individual who thrives in a team-based environment, with a passion for guest service and hospitality.
  • Must be able to read, write, and understand English, with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and some holidays.
  • Ability to multi-task and work calmly and effectively under pressure, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs, with physical stamina to meet the demands of the role.
  • Ability to stand and walk up to 10 hours per shift, with regular breaks and self-care.
  • Ability to perform essential functions to Cooper's Hawk standards, with reasonable accommodation.
