Job Overview

Shriners Children's Ohio is seeking a House Supervisor for our Inpatient Unit. This role is essential in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to children in need. Our healthcare professionals are committed to providing compassionate, family-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
  • The House Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the Inpatient Unit.
  • This role includes monitoring patient care, ensuring that staff, equipment, supplies, and resources are readily available for effective care delivery, and fostering teamwork among staff members.
  • Collaborating with nursing leadership, the House Supervisor will contribute to the professional development of nursing staff, ensuring that the quality of care aligns with the standards set by The Joint Commission, CMS, SHC, and other relevant regulatory bodies.
  • This position may hold authority beyond nursing departments during non-standard working hours and may act as the highest-ranking administrative representative for the facility.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
  • A minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in a pediatric clinical environment
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
Preferred:
  • 1 year of experience in a Nursing Supervisor role
  • 2 years of experience in Critical Care
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
