Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and managing Driver Qualification (DQ) files, managing Department of Transportation (DOT) audits, and establishing cost-effective and compliant delivery routes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creates and manages Driver Qualification (DQ) files
  • Manages Department of Transportation (DOT) audits
  • Establishes delivery routes that are cost-effective and compliant with Federal DOT guidelines
  • Maintains exceptional customer service standards, quality, and satisfaction
  • Utilizes Roadnet application to ensure delivery costs are held to company-expected run rates
  • Optimizes routing schedules while strongly emphasizing driver safety
  • Cultivates excellent relationships with drivers and customers
  • Monitors sudden route changes or road construction to establish new routes to maintain timely deliveries

Requirements:

  • High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of distribution, logistics, transportation, or related work experience
  • Ability to create, manage, and calculate routes
  • Experience with DQ file compliance
  • Knowledge of the local area
  • Proficiency in Excel and Word and experience with RoadNet is a plus
  • Safe driving experience is a plus
  • CDL A or B required
