Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Nurse to join our team at Novant Health in Wilmington, North Carolina.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a procedural setting with a one-on-one patient to nurse ratio, providing exceptional care and support to patients undergoing various medical procedures.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working day shift (7am-4:30pm), with minimal call time on weekends. The ideal candidate will be autonomous, able to think critically, and possess excellent communication skills.

  • Assess patients' IV and port access
  • Monitor vital signs and administer medication via IVs
  • Support the Radiologist in certain procedures, such as MRIs
  • Manage the sedation of patients
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • A current valid North Carolina nursing license
  • BLS certification
  • One year of relevant or critical care experience preferred
