Job Overview

Position: Warehouse Personnel I

Department: Shipping and Receiving

Reports To: Warehouse Manager

Position Summary:

The Warehouse Personnel I plays a crucial role in the logistics process by managing the receipt, packing, and dispatch of lighting products efficiently and safely, adhering to the protocols set by the Warehouse Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. At the start of each day, review the previous day's sales, adjust inventory counts accordingly, and report any discrepancies to the Operations Manager.
  2. Utilize BULBMAN's item identification system from SAP to accurately store products in designated locations.
  3. Collect Sales Orders and Transfers from the Sales Department for processing.
  4. Generate Pick Tickets, retrieve items from inventory, and prepare them for shipment.
  5. For credit card transactions, ensure Pick Tickets are validated by the Accounting Department, addressing any issues with the Sales Order promptly.
  6. Receive items from the staging area, develop shipping instructions, and prepare necessary delivery documentation.
  7. Conduct a final count of products to be shipped and ensure they are packaged securely.
  8. Determine the appropriate shipping method and carrier, and complete all required shipping documentation.
  9. Inform the Warehouse Manager of any challenges encountered during the process.

Performance Evaluation Criteria:

In addition to the successful execution of job responsibilities, the following factors will also be considered in performance assessments:

  1. Meticulous attention to detail in the accurate and timely entry of part numbers, quantities, and addresses.
  2. Collaboration, a positive demeanor towards colleagues, and a commitment to the overall success of BULBMAN.
  3. Capability to independently manage tasks and resolve issues within the established guidelines.
  4. Contributions to maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the BULBMAN facility.
  5. Upholding BULBMAN's confidentiality by sharing information strictly on a need-to-know basis.
  6. Compliance with BULBMAN's Policies and Procedures.
