Position Overview

Role Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and empathetic Breast Imaging Specialist to become a vital part of our healthcare team. In this role, you will operate under the guidance of Radiologists and Imaging Directors, collaborating closely to deliver outstanding patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain composure in high-pressure environments
  • Effectively manage a busy workload and stressful scenarios
  • Exhibit strong organizational abilities and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems proficiently
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Employ creativity and problem-solving capabilities
  • Adapt to various shift schedules as needed

Work Schedule:

· Monday to Friday

· Four 10-hour shifts – 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM

· Three 12-hour shifts – 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM

· No on-call responsibilities unless required by clinic needs

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year of relevant experience
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Valid certifications and registrations as a Registered Technologist and in Mammography from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Current state license for Radiography and Mammography
  • BLS certification required
  • Experience with DEXA and Stereotactic biopsy is preferred
