Role Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and empathetic Breast Imaging Specialist to become a vital part of our healthcare team. In this role, you will operate under the guidance of Radiologists and Imaging Directors, collaborating closely to deliver outstanding patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain composure in high-pressure environments
- Effectively manage a busy workload and stressful scenarios
- Exhibit strong organizational abilities and prioritize tasks efficiently
- Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems proficiently
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Employ creativity and problem-solving capabilities
- Adapt to various shift schedules as needed
Work Schedule:
· Monday to Friday
· Four 10-hour shifts – 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
· Three 12-hour shifts – 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
· No on-call responsibilities unless required by clinic needs
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of relevant experience
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Valid certifications and registrations as a Registered Technologist and in Mammography from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Current state license for Radiography and Mammography
- BLS certification required
- Experience with DEXA and Stereotactic biopsy is preferred
