Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Communications Specialist to join our team at Cambridge Lakes Charter School. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work closely with students in grades K-8 to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's goals and requirements.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, focusing on articulation, fluency, language development, and social communication skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to integrate strategies into classroom instruction and everyday activities.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure effective outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Illinois state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
  • Experience working with children, particularly in a school setting, is highly desirable.
