Key Responsibilities:- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety.
- Teach patients and their families about health information, providing education and support to promote healthy outcomes.
- Perform direct patient care, adhering to established procedures, policies, and standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Assist in the orientation and training of new employees, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the development of solutions.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with an Associate Degree or Diploma.
- One year of experience in the nursing field, preferably in an emergency or intensive care setting.
- Current New Mexico License or RN License with Multistate Compact privileges.
- BLS certification required, with ACLS, PALS, NRP, and TNCC certifications preferred.
