Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring seamless execution of tasks and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Train and supervise housekeeping staff, utilizing an ongoing training program to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Develop and implement effective staffing strategies to meet the needs of the department, adhering to budgetary guidelines.
  • Maintain Lake Lawn's standards for guest service and quality of product, ensuring consistency in all aspects of housekeeping operations.
  • Coordinate daily cleaning services, including guestrooms and public areas, to ensure a clean and welcoming environment for guests.
  • Recommend expense and capital expenditure reports to senior management, providing insights into departmental operations and budgetary needs.
  • Evaluate the physical condition of rooms regularly, submitting recommendations for maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal guest satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience as an Assistant Housekeeping Manager or similar role.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Working Conditions:

The position is indoors, with moderate noise levels and occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts and chemicals. The staff member will work in a high-traffic, high-volume business environment, requiring prolonged periods of standing and walking.
