Job Title: Orthodontic Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Orthodontic Assistant to join our team at TN Specialty Dental Services, PLLC. As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our orthodontic team.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the orthodontist with patient procedures, including seating patients, preparing teeth for bonding, and taking X-rays.
  • Monitor patient oral hygiene, instruct patients on correct brushing techniques, and deliver instruments to sterilization.
  • Chart patient notes, schedule appointments, and answer questions from parents regarding treatment.
  • Assist the orthodontist with procedures, anticipate their needs, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Represent the practice in a positive manner, both within and outside the office.
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of dental assisting experience, preferably in orthodontics.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and written skills.
  • Ability to work well with patients and team members.
  • Experience in delivering high-level customer service.
  • Commitment to arriving on time daily and staying late as needed.
