We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team. As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for working on commercial mechanical projects, handling the layout, assembly, installation, and maintenance of mechanical piping systems and pipe supports.

• Read and understand isometric drawings
• Lay out, miter fittings, and fabricate branch saddles
• Fitting open butt-weld and socket-weld joints

• Experience in assembling and installing a variety of metal and nonmetal pipes, tubes, and fittings
• Skilled in connecting pipes using threaded, soldered, brazed, fused, solvent welded joints, pressed, and grooved
• Ability to secure pipes to structure with brackets, clamps, and hangers
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment

• Use oxygen and acetylene rig to cut and bevel pipe, angle iron, brackets, etc.
• Ascending and descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and/or poles
• Climbing stairs
• Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments
• Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
• Operating machinery and/or power tools
• Outdoor elements such as precipitation, heat, cold, and/or wind
• Noisy environment
• Light to heavy work that includes adjusting and/or moving objects from pounds

USD $28.00/Hr.
