Executive Housekeeper Job Description

About the Role:

The Executive Housekeeper is a key member of the hotel team, responsible for ensuring the highest standards of service and quality in the rooms and amenities. With a focus on cost management, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement, this role requires a strong leader who can motivate and direct a team to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the rooms section of the budget, including cost management and budget preparation
  • Monitor the quality of services and ensure proper organization of tasks
  • Develop new working methods and offer new services to attract a broader clientele
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve customer and employee satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Advanced vocational diploma (BTS), bachelors degree or diploma in hospitality
  • Professional training at specialized schools
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Housekeeper or Assistant Executive Housekeeper position

Path to Success:

Typically, this role is attained through a Housekeeper or Assistant Executive Housekeeper position. It would be beneficial to complete internships at an independent hotel and a hotel group to gain a deeper understanding of the industry.
