Ledger Accounting Assistant

Addition Management is seeking a skilled Ledger Accounting Assistant to support our team in New York, NY.
About the Position
- Verify and post journal entries, ledger accounts, and other financial transactions
- Develop and implement purchasing programs, including vendor selection and procurement category management
- Manage daily AP emails and workflow process for approvals, timeliness, and accuracy
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor information
- Prepare cash movement entries, invoice journals, and daily bank activities
- Process vendor invoices, manage payment files, and submit checks and vouchers for review
- Assist with year-end accounting tasks, including 1099 and 1096 form preparation
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports and schedules
Qualifications
Preferred college degree and 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience.
Estimated Salary: $70k - $80k per annum.
