Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow a team of talented designers to drive the design of our billing and enterprise experiences
  • Partner with Product and Engineering leads to improve team processes and execution, and coach individual teams through setting roadmap and strategy
  • Develop a deep understanding of Figma's approach to billing and successfully advocate for it across the organization
  • Run and improve team processes like critiques and sprints to cultivate a high-performing design culture
  • Improve Figma's overall design organization practices
Requirements
  • 5+ years of design management experience
  • Experience (or at least clear interest) in working on admin or billing-related features
  • Examples of partnering with internal teams to solve complex business problems
  • Proven track record as a craftsperson and ability to teach others
  • Hands-on experience with Figma, common design tooling practices, and coaching people
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with visualizing and simplifying complex information
  • Knowledge of Figma's billing-related areas
  • Affinity for the fast-paced, changing environment of a start-up
  • Ability to take risks with new and interesting methodologies and ideas
