Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician CDL to join our team at UPS. As a key member of our fleet maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining a diverse range of equipment, including delivery vehicles, heavy-duty on-road tractors, and trailers from various manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including hydraulic brakes, air brakes, electrical systems, and engine controls.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues using diagnostic equipment, scan tools, and personal computers.
  • Operate power and pneumatic tools, and possess a full complement of personal hand tools.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with variable temperatures and humidity, exposure to cleaning materials, petroleum products, dust, dirt, and noise.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure proper job safety conditions and meet service needs.
Requirements:
  • Must have an active driver's license issued by the state and meet D.O.T requirements.
  • Class A/B or A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.
  • Dependable with ability to report to work on a regular and timely basis and complete scheduled workday on a consistent basis.
  • Available to work varying shifts, additional hours, and/or overtime depending on service needs.
