Job Summary

North American Lighting Inc., a leading manufacturer of automotive exterior lighting, is seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials throughout our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Movement: Load, unload, and transport materials between process areas, adhering to company processes and procedures.
  • Kanban Management: Properly place Kanban cards on parts and/or finished goods, ensuring accurate tracking and inventory management.
  • Supply Chain Support: Provide operators with necessary equipment and supplies, such as roll-around racks, baskets, and tubs.
  • Efficiency and Safety: Utilize time efficiently to move parts between processes, while maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to all safety policies and practices.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Assist in cleaning operations within the department, ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent, plus 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Completion of a forklift operation training course and current forklift certification.
