Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Community Engagement Specialist. The ideal candidate will have one to two years of related experience in coordinating, planning, and executing group activities and events.

  • Develop and implement engaging activities, recreation, socialization, fitness, and adult-learning programs for our seniors residents.
  • Create a monthly calendar that provides opportunities for residents to socialize and enjoy recreational activities each day, including weekends.
  • Utilize our community passenger vehicle for transporting residents to and from community appointments, events, and scheduled activities.
  • Take a leadership role in decorating and celebrating major holidays, ensuring that residents with different religious preferences are enabled to celebrate their specific holidays.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • One (1) to two (2) years of related experience in coordinating, planning, and executing group activities and events.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing, with residents, staff, and vendors.
  • Able to proficiently operate standard office equipment.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Proficient computer skills - Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel; includes utilization of iPad/tablet and other technology devices.
