We are seeking friendly and energetic individuals to join our front-of-house staff at Kalapawai Cafe & Deli. Our casual counter-service environment caters to office employees, residents, and visitors. This is a fast-paced, customer-focused position that requires a passion for coffee, food, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for every guest.
• Register with the Honolulu Liquor Commission.
• Attend work promptly and be available to work mornings, weekends, and holidays.
• Multi-task to take customer orders, answer phone calls, process cash transactions, and maintain a clean and sanitary dining room and work area.
• Follow all recipes and company rules and procedures.
• Obtain valid TB test and Hep A vaccinations as required by law.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
